CommonNative welcomes submissions from a broad range of topics relating to Africa and its global diaspora.

We only accept pitches for opinion pieces and interviews.

For opinion pieces, please bear in mind that our aim is to provide original content that looks beyond, rather than reports on, current affairs and trends, providing meaning and context to the headlines. We would expect contributors to have some expertise on, or connected to, the subject they are addressing.

For interviews, please make sure that your interviewee and the topics discussed are of relevance to CommonNative.

If commissioned, the piece must be exclusive to CommonNative. Submissions that
have been published elsewhere in any form and in any language, will not be considered.
